Pink chiffon, carnations and candles for a baby shower in a glass room

Decoration for a baby shower in a glass room near Pruszcz Gdański: pink chiffon, carnations and gerbera daisies in glass vases, candles in gold candlesticks and charger plates with gold pearls.
November baby shower in a room with a glass roof
We decorated this baby shower in November, in a glass room near Pruszcz Gdański. We dealt with pink chiffon and a long table for guests. In the frame next to the glass wall, we attached chiffon curtains that flow to the floor. We placed a chiffon table runner on the table, flowers in glass vases, candles in gold candlesticks and place settings with pink napkins tied in a bow, and we placed small white boxes next to them. The balloons on the frame, above the table and on the table were prepared by another company.
The table runner made of powder pink chiffon lies loosely along the entire table and forms soft waves. Between them there are low vases with flowers and tall white candles. The palette combines powder pink with white, gold and green, and purple appears only in flowers. The black steel structure of the room and the dark stone floor contrast strongly with the pink, and the white tablecloth, candles and plates soften the contrast. The garden with birches and reeds is not part of the decoration, but thanks to the glass walls it is constantly its background.
Carnations, gerberas and candles in golden candlesticks
There are carnations in small glass vases, including white ones with a purple burgundy border on the edges of the petals and pink ones. They are accompanied by white gerbera and white speedwell ears, and the whole is complemented by green leaves and purple flowers and buds. There are only a few stems in each vase, so the compositions are light, low and do not obscure the people on the other side of the table. White gerbera and speedwell repeat the white of candles and plates, and pink carnations refer to chiffon.
Between the vases we placed tall white candles in slender gold candlesticks. They reach higher than the flowers, so there is a vertical accent above low compositions. In November, dusk falls already in the afternoon: the garden behind the glass darkens and candles provide light on the table. The flames burn several dozen centimeters above the table runner, away from the light chiffon.
Gold pearls on the plates and pink bows
Each place setting begins with a glass charger plate with a rim of gold pearls. On the charger plate there is a white plate with a wavy edge and on it a pink napkin, which we tied in a bow. There are glasses and cutlery nearby, and small white boxes for guests next to the place settings. The pearls repeat the gold of the candlesticks, and the pink of the napkins connects the place setting with the chiffon.
