Website Cookie Policy

Effective from 14 October 2026.

§1

General provisions

  1. The owner of the Website at www.wielkidzien.pl and the controller of personal data provided when using it is Magdalena Raba, conducting business under the name RABA Magdalena Raba, ul. Konstantego Bergiela 4/10, 80-180 Gdańsk, tax identification number (NIP): 5833557278, who runs the “Wielki Dzień” decoration studio (the “Controller”). The Controller’s email address is kontakt@wielkidzien.pl.
  2. The rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy, available at www.wielkidzien.pl/en/polityka-prywatnosci.
  3. The Website uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser storage, to function properly, remember Users’ choices and, only with their consent, analyse use of the Website.
  4. Cookies may be temporary, meaning that they are deleted when the browser or tab is closed, or persistent, meaning that they are stored for a specified period or until the User deletes them.
  5. Information is processed in accordance with applicable law: the Polish Act of 12 July 2024 — Electronic Communications Law; Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the “GDPR”); and the Polish Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data.

§2

Definitions

  1. Cookies — small text files stored on the User’s computer or other device, associated with information about how the Website is used. For the purposes of this Policy, cookies also include information saved in browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage).
  2. Personal data — any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
  3. Third country — a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
  4. Website — the website at www.wielkidzien.pl and its subpages.
  5. User — a person who uses the Website, in particular by browsing its content, using its tools or contacting the Controller through a form.
  6. End user — an entity using or requesting a publicly available electronic communications service for its own needs. A User may also be an End user.

§3

Purposes of storing and accessing information

  1. Without the User’s consent, the Website stores only information necessary for its operation and to provide services requested by the User:
    • The decision made in the cookie consent banner (browser storage, until the decision is changed);
    • A record that the contact or newsletter invitation was dismissed, so it is not displayed on every visit (browser storage; the newsletter invitation returns after 30 days);
    • A cookie confirming that the password for an offer or proposal was entered (30 days);
    • Login cookies for the Controller’s team (team members only, 30 days);
    • Data entered in the seating plan, wedding planner, music planner and cost calculators; these data remain solely in the User’s browser and are not sent to the Controller.
  2. Only with the User’s consent does the Website store information used to analyse its use:
    • Cookies and browser storage data saved by PostHog, including a visitor identifier (up to 12 months);
    • A session recording for Sentry in the browser’s session storage (until the tab is closed).
  3. The Website does not use cookies for marketing or remarketing. It does not use Google Analytics or the Facebook Pixel.
  4. Information in analytics cookies is not combined with data supplied by the User in forms or in connection with entering into or performing a contract.

§4

Tools used on the Website

The following tools operate on the Website to analyse traffic, ensure security and fix errors:

  • Umami — a visitor statistics tool running on the Controller’s server in Poland. It does not use cookies, save information on the User’s device or retain IP addresses. It shows only aggregate information, such as which pages are read, where visitors come from and which devices they use. It operates on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Choosing “Essential only” in the cookie consent banner also disables Umami: from that point the Website does not send it visit data, including on later visits in that browser, provided the browser allows this choice to be stored.
  • PostHog — an analytics tool running on the Controller’s server in Poland, enabled only with the User’s consent. It records use of the Website (page views, clicks and scrolling) and may record sessions. Form fields and the text entered into them are not recorded.
  • Sentry — an error reporting tool running on the Controller’s server. An error report contains the page URL, browser type, details of the error and the IP address; sending it does not require information to be stored on the User’s device. A session recording is attached to the report only with the User’s consent.
  • Vercel — the Website’s hosting provider (servers in Frankfurt). On each visit, the server records technical information: IP address, time, the URL of the page visited and browser type. This is used for security and diagnosing problems, and is retained briefly.
  • Links to Instagram and Facebook profiles — the Website contains ordinary links, rather than plugins from these platforms, so it does not send them any information until a link is clicked. After visiting a platform, the User is subject to its privacy rules, in particular those at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

§5

Processing information contained in cookies outside the EEA

  1. Umami, PostHog and Sentry run on the Controller’s server in Poland, so the information they collect is not sent to the companies that develop these tools.
  2. The Website is hosted by Vercel, and traffic to some tools on the Controller’s server passes through Cloudflare’s network. These providers are established in the United States of America, so technical information, in particular the IP address and URL of the visited page, may be transferred to a third country. Such transfers are based on Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 of 10 July 2023 (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) for providers included on the US Department of Commerce list, and, in other cases, on the standard contractual clauses adopted by Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021.

§6

Accepting, rejecting or changing cookie settings

  1. On the first visit, the Website displays a banner in which the User can consent to analytics cookies (“I agree”) or reject them (“Essential only”). Analytics cookies are not stored until a choice is made, and rejecting them is as easy as accepting them.
  2. Consent is voluntary and can be changed or withdrawn at any time using “Cookie settings” in the Website footer or here: . Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  3. The User can also delete or block cookies at any time in their browser settings. Instructions are available from browser providers:
  4. The User’s consent is not required if storing or accessing information is necessary to transmit a communication over a public telecommunications network or to provide an electronically supplied service requested by the End user (Article 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law).
  5. Deleting or blocking necessary cookies may make parts of the Website harder to use, for example by displaying the consent banner again, losing data entered in tools or requiring the offer password to be entered again.

§7

Final provisions

The Cookie Policy may be amended, in particular where required by the technical solutions used or changes in the law. The current version is always available on this page, together with its effective date.
