A wedding in Kashubia in powder pink: hall and church
In July 2025, we decorated a wedding in Kashubia, in Ostrzyce. We worked in two places: in the wedding hall and in the church where the wedding took place. The scope of our work included hall decoration, ceremony decoration and wedding floristry. All flowers come from our studio: single flowers in vases on the guests' tables, compositions on the bride and groom's table and on the ring behind it, and in the church, bouquets by the pews and on the bride and groom's chairs, and a composition in front of the altar. Ours also includes white fabric and white bows on the benches and pink fabric on these two chairs.

The palette includes powder pink, light pink, coral, white, cream and green, as well as gold charger plates and candlesticks. The photo at the top of the page shows a long table from the end: gold plates with pink napkins, a table runner made of light pink tulle, vases with single flowers and pink candles. In the background you can see the bride and groom's table with a white band, flowers and neon, as well as log pillars and a ceiling with fabric and lights. The photos of the room were taken in the evening, with the lamps on, so the windows are dark and the light is warm. The church in the photos is empty, in daylight.

Wedding hall decoration: long tables under the ceiling with lights
The hall has columns of round wooden logs, white boarded walls and a low brick plinth. There are also cream curtains and dark, carved wood above the windows. You can see hanging fabric and garlands of small lamps hanging from the ceiling, and hanging lamps also provide warm light. The wide shot shows several long tables with cream tablecloths and white cross-backed chairs. On the right you can see the bride and groom's table with a ring and a neon sign, placed at the end of the room, facing the guests' tables.

The decoration of the wedding hall is arranged along the tables. Their long lines, with a table runner and vases in the center, lead the eye to the end of the room, to the bride and groom's table and the hoop behind it. The flowers are placed on the guests' tables individually, and the compositions are only there: on the front of the table and on the rim. These are the flowers we have in this room, those in vases and those in both compositions. We do not take credit for every element visible in the photos, because some of the equipment belongs to the facility.

Table decoration of the bride and groom: a hoop with flowers and a neon sign
Behind the table of the bride and groom there was a white ring, and in its center a warm white neon sign with the word "Love" shone. We placed a flower arrangement in the upper right part of the hoop. We placed the second, low one on the front of the table, in the middle. In the photo, the table is taken straight ahead: a hoop with flowers and neon, a low composition, pink candles in slender gold candlesticks and in glass cylinders, and vases with single flowers.

The photo shows a close-up of the composition on the rim. We made it with coral and pink carnations, spray roses, small pink chrysanthemums, white carnation and eustoma buds, complemented by gypsophila, grass ears and shiny leaves. Neon letters glow at the bottom of the frame, and cream curtains can be seen in the background.

The decoration of the bride and groom's table is also a low composition on its front. There are pink hydrangeas, cream and peach spray roses, pale pink dahlias, coral and pink carnations, tiny pink chrysanthemums, gypsophila and grass ears. Green twigs flow over the edge of the table. The photo shows the composition from above, and in the corner of the frame you can see a pink candle in a glass bowl. Twig roses, carnations, small chrysanthemums, gypsophila and grass ears return in the composition on the rim.

Flowers for the wedding table: single flowers in vases
Flowers for a wedding table can stand alone, and this was the case on the guests' tables. There were small glass vases on the table runner in the center of the table, and we placed one flower or one twig in each of them. The photo taken along the table shows carnations, gerberas, green twigs and ears of grass, and between the vases a pink candle in glass and thin candles. You can also see gold plates with pink napkins, and in the background, out of focus, a ring with a neon sign and lamps under the ceiling.

The vases contain carnations in three colors: coral, pink and white. There are also pink gerberas, pale pink and white dahlias, gypsophila, green twigs and fluffy ears of grass, as well as pink flowers on high shoots, white fluffy inflorescences and cream flowers on thin stems. In a close-up, a coral carnation and cream spray roses stand in a glass vase. Next to it you can see the base of a slender gold candlestick, a gold charger plate with a pink napkin and a tulle table runner, and in the background, out of focus, more vases. Each flower stands separately, so its shape and color can be clearly seen up close.

Wedding table decoration: candles, gold plates and napkins
The wedding table decoration includes, apart from flowers, a table runner, tableware and candles. A light pink tulle table runner ran down the center of the tables, and gold tablecloths sat on cream tablecloths, each with a powder pink cloth napkin tied in a knot. There were candles between the vases: tall and thin in slender gold candlesticks, and thick ones in glass cylinders, both pink. The photo shows a long table from the side and from above: a row of gold plates with napkins, a table runner, flower vases, both types of candles and white chairs.

In the front photo, there are thick pink candles in glass cylinders, and next to them are vases with gypsophila, pink carnations, cream branch roses and a white dahlia. Further along the table are gold plates with powder pink napkins tied in a knot and thin pink candles. Candles for a wedding can be combined as here: thin ones in candlesticks and thick ones in glass.

Church decoration for a wedding: fabric, bows and flowers by the pews
Decorating the church for the wedding was the second part of this project. The interior is bright and dark wooden benches are arranged in two blocks. There is a passageway in the middle, and behind the altar there is a stone wall. Along the benches, on the aisle side, we pinned white fabric into soft waves, and at the ends of the benches we placed white bows and small pink bouquets. The photo shows the entire interior: there are lit candles in glass cylinders near the first pews, two chairs covered with pink fabric in front of the altar steps, and a flower arrangement at the foot of the altar.

In the first photo you can see the fabric line from the side. At the first bench, the white fabric flows down to the floor, and at the ends of the benches there are white bows and bouquets of pink carnations and gypsophila. There are two glass cylinders with lit white candles on the floor. In the second photo, the same line can be seen along the aisle: a cascade of fabric at the first bench, bows and pink bouquets on the next ones, and in the background, out of focus, two chairs covered with pink fabric and an altar. The white fabric and bows stand out against the dark wood of the benches.

Flowers in front of the altar and chairs of the bride and groom
There were two chairs for the bride and groom in front of the altar steps. We covered them with a translucent powder pink fabric. The fabric on the benches is white and here it is pink, just like the napkins on the tables in the room. We tied a small bouquet of eustoma, carnation, gerbera and white flower to each chair. In the photo, the chairs are shown from behind, and in front of them are the altar steps and the altar with a white embroidered tablecloth.

We arranged the flowers in front of the altar into one pink and white composition, which stands on the floor at the foot of the altar. There are snapdragons, gerberas, carnations, eustomas, spray roses and hydrangea, as well as gypsophila, grass ears and shiny leaves. In the photo above the composition you can see a white embroidered altar tablecloth. Carnations, gerberas, spray roses, hydrangea, gypsophila and grass ears are also in the hall, so the church and the hall have a common palette.

What do we advise couples who are planning a wedding in Kashubia?
If you are planning a wedding in Kashubia and a wedding in a church, remember that there are two places to decorate on one day: the church and the hall. We ask the parish about the rules of decoration, and we ask the hall about the entry times. Ostrzyce is located on Lake Ostrzyckie, outside the Tri-City, and we commute there from Gdańsk. Therefore, we plan travel to Kashubia and assembly in both places in advance.

Powder pink looks good with white, cream and a bit of gold. This is how it is in the photos from this project: the cream of the tablecloths and the white fabric of the benches are the background, pink returns in the flowers, candles and napkins, and gold only in the charger plates and candlesticks. If you are planning a wedding in powder pink, repeat this color in the church and in the hall, as here in the fabric on the chairs and napkins. Wedding decorations in powder pink do not need many additional colors: coral, white and green are enough for the flowers.
