• A milestone birthday in a restaurant

  For a 30th, 40th or 50th in a restaurant or hired venue. Numbers, a backdrop and flowers in one palette make it clear whose celebration it is as soon as guests arrive.

These sets are a starting point rather than a fixed price list: we tailor each one to your date, venue, colours and number of guests, and you can combine elements from different sets.

Birthday ideas for different ages

• A decade-themed backdrop

  A birthday photo backdrop can evoke the years when the birthday person grew up: the 1980s for a 50th, the 1990s for a 40th or the early 2000s for a 30th. Add colours, patterns and phrases from that era and large balloon numbers, and guests immediately know where to pose.

• Flowers in a favourite colour

  Rather than a random palette, choose the colour the birthday person loves most and wears most often. Flowers, balloons and a runner in shades of that one colour look calmer than a rainbow and immediately evoke that person.

• A table of old photographs

  Ask the family for a few photos from each decade: nursery, university, a first flat, holidays with the children. Bring them printed and we will arrange them on a separate table among flowers and numbers. They make a good conversation starter for guests who do not know each other.

• A “then and now” corner

  Two photos side by side: the birthday person years ago and today, in the same pose. We will prepare a backdrop in the party colours and a place for the printed old photo, while guests help recreate the pose. At a 50th, this could be the funniest part of the evening.

• One theme for a child’s birthday

  For children’s birthday decorations, one theme works better than five: dinosaurs, space, the sea or a favourite colour. We will coordinate the balloons, backdrop and table so the decorations do not blend into the colourful toys and young guests’ clothes.

• A birthday in the garden or on the terrace

  In summer, parties often move outdoors. Garlands secured to a pergola or fence and flowers in heavy vases work better there than individual helium balloons that the wind can easily catch.

How to prepare a surprise party

The hardest parts of a surprise are timing and keys. Someone close takes the birthday person out at an agreed time and makes sure they do not return early, while someone else lets us in. Before the party, we agree with the organiser who has the keys, where we can park, which way we bring in the balloons and how we will confirm everything is ready.

Invite guests earlier than the birthday person, allowing time for backdrop photos and hiding in the living room. We plan the decorations so they do not give the surprise away: helium balloons stay away from windows, and the name sign goes where it cannot be seen from the street or stairwell. Also decide who will take the photo as the birthday person opens the door, because that expression cannot be repeated.

What affects the price of birthday decorations

The main factors are the size and number of decorations: a backdrop with numbers alone differs from a backdrop, balloons throughout the venue and flowers on every table. The flowers you choose and whether they are in season, personalised names or slogans, and setup time also affect the price. A surprise prepared in a rush needs more hands than a relaxed morning setup.

There is no fixed price list because an intimate birthday at home and a large restaurant reception differ in everything except the occasion. Tell us what matters most, such as a photo backdrop or table flowers, and we will start the proposal there.

   We will get back to you within 24 hours with a proposal and quote. Travel costs from Gdańsk are included in the quote from the start, so you know the full amount before booking.

   Refining the details

   We work with you to choose colours, flowers, signs and accessories, so the set suits your venue and occasion.

4. 4

   Decorating on site

   We deliver and install the decorations before your celebration. We agree installation and collection times with you in advance and, if the party is at a venue, with its staff as well.
