We will decorate your gender reveal party, a gathering where parents discover their baby’s sex together with loved ones: a confetti balloon to pop, a box of rising balloons, a photo backdrop and a voting board for guests. Simply give us a sealed envelope from your doctor, and you will discover the balloon colour together with your guests, whether in a garden in Kashubia or a restaurant in Gdańsk.

  • A proposal and quote within 24 hours
  • Travel beyond the Tricity, with costs known in advance
  • From our Gdańsk studio throughout Pomerania

Example gender reveal party packages

The reveal itself lasts just a moment, so we build each package around one element everyone watches and a backdrop that looks good on video. The packages vary by venue and guest numbers: from a moment just for two, to a living room with loved ones, to a garden full of family.

  • A reveal in the living room

For a gathering with a few loved ones at home: one backdrop against a wall and a designated spot where the parents stand for the reveal.

    • A large balloon filled with pink or blue confetti to pop
    • A balloon garland in white, pink and blue
    • A “Boy or girl?” sign above the reveal spot
    • A voting board for guests
    • Flowers for the table displaying the cake from your bakery

Best for: Parents who want to discover their baby’s sex with close family without leaving home.

  • Gender reveal in the garden

Outdoors, there is room for a box of balloons that rise when opened, and for more guests. Add a balloon arch at the entrance and a decorated table where everyone waits for the result.

    • A large box of helium balloons in the reveal colour
    • A balloon arch at the garden entrance
    • A “Boy or girl?” backdrop for photos with guests
    • A voting board with stickers in two colours
    • White and green flowers for the guests’ table

Best for: Families with a garden or a house outside town who are inviting more people and want the reveal to be visible from every spot.

  • A reveal in a restaurant

In a restaurant or café, the decorations must fit beside your table without disturbing other customers. If the venue does not allow confetti, we suggest a balloon box.

    • A “Boy or girl?” backdrop beside your table
    • A balloon box or confetti balloon, subject to the venue’s approval
    • Table flowers in neutral colours
    • A voting board at the room entrance
    • Helium balloons beside the parents’ chairs

Best for: Parents inviting family for a meal who want to discover their baby’s sex together over dessert.

  • Just the two of you

For a reveal without guests, when you prefer to discover your baby’s sex alone and send the recording to family later. We set up in the living room or on the terrace and leave before you begin.

    • A confetti balloon prepared using the doctor’s envelope
    • A white and beige balloon backdrop that works well on video
    • A “Boy or girl?” sign on a stand
    • Flowers in a vase on a nearby table

Best for: Couples who prefer to experience this moment alone and share it with loved ones afterwards.

These sets are a starting point rather than a fixed price list: we tailor each one to your date, venue, colours and number of guests, and you can combine elements from different sets.

Gender reveal ideas

  • A confetti balloon to pop

The parents pop a large, opaque balloon together, releasing pink or blue confetti over them and the nearest guests. We place it somewhere easy to clean afterwards, such as a terrace or the middle of the living room, away from the cake and refreshments.

  • A box of rising balloons

The parents open a closed box and helium balloons in the reveal colour rise out of it. We tie the balloons to the bottom of the box with ribbons, so they stay above it rather than floating away. This works especially well in a garden or a room with a high ceiling.

  • A “Boy or girl?” backdrop

A white, pink and blue balloon backdrop with a large sign is a place for photos before the reveal and a group picture straight afterwards. We place it behind the parents so the sign, balloon and your reactions all fit in one frame.

  • Guests’ predictions

Guests place a pink or blue sticker on a board at the entrance before learning the result. After the reveal, everyone can see who guessed correctly, and you can give the winners a small gift.

  • A cake with the colour inside

If cutting the cake will be your reveal, order it from your bakery, as we do not bake. We can tell the bakery the colour from the envelope so no one in the family finds out early, and decorate the table where the cake will stand.

  • Colours that give nothing away

Until the reveal, the decorations should be neutral or have equal amounts of pink and blue. White, beige and gold accents look elegant, with the revealing colour appearing only in the confetti, the balloons from the box or coloured smoke.

How to keep the baby’s sex secret until the reveal

We suggest a simple approach: ask your doctor to write the baby’s sex on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope, then hand it to us without looking inside. We open it ourselves and prepare your chosen reveal, such as a confetti balloon or balloon box, without telling anyone in the family.

The balloon is opaque and the box is closed and sealed, so nobody can see the colour, even during setup. If a bakery is involved, we agree on the cake colour directly with them and answer family questions before the party with nothing but a smile.

Gender reveal or baby shower: what is the difference?

A gender reveal party centres on a single moment when the guests, and often the parents themselves, discover whether the baby is a boy or a girl. It is often shorter and smaller than a baby shower, sometimes just a family meal or a moment for two, with all the decorations leading up to the reveal.

A baby shower is more of an afternoon for the mum-to-be, with good wishes, gifts and decorations to enjoy throughout the party. You can combine both ideas: keep the decorations neutral for most of the gathering and pop the confetti balloon at the end, once all the guests have arrived.

What affects the price of gender reveal decorations

The price depends primarily on your chosen reveal: a confetti balloon alone, a box with several helium balloons, coloured smoke or a combination. Other factors include the size of the backdrop or garland, signs made especially for you, table flowers and whether we are decorating a living room, garden or restaurant room.

For a small gathering, a confetti balloon and a modest backdrop are often enough, because everyone’s attention will be on the reveal itself.

How we work

  1. Tell us what you are planning

The occasion, date, venue and approximate number of guests. A photo of the venue, garden or beach is very helpful.

  2. Proposal and quote

We will get back to you within 24 hours with a proposal and quote. Travel costs from Gdańsk are included in the quote from the start, so you know the full amount before booking.

  3. Refining the details

We work with you to choose colours, flowers, signs and accessories, so the set suits your venue and occasion.

  4. Decorating on site

We deliver and install the decorations before your celebration. We agree installation and collection times with you in advance and, if the party is at a venue, with its staff as well.

Frequently asked questions

How much do gender reveal party decorations cost?

We quote for every reveal individually: a confetti balloon in a living room differs from a balloon box, backdrop and flowers in a garden. Tell us the date, venue and number of guests, and we will return with a proposal and quote within 24 hours.

Can we give you the envelope from our doctor?

Yes. Using the sealed envelope, we will prepare your chosen reveal so that nobody but us knows the result. We will agree on how to hand over the envelope when you order.

What if we already know the baby’s sex?

Then the reveal is a surprise for your guests. Tell us the result when ordering and we will prepare a balloon, box or smoke in the right colour without telling anyone in the family.

Can you provide coloured smoke or fireworks?

Yes. We can prepare any type of reveal, including pyrotechnics such as coloured smoke. We use pyrotechnics only where the venue or landowner permits them, so we agree on the location and format when preparing the quote.

Can we pop a confetti balloon in a restaurant?

Not every restaurant allows it, because confetti can be difficult to clean up. We check the venue’s permission before sending a proposal. If confetti is not allowed, a balloon box can be used for the reveal instead.

Is travel to a garden or house charged separately?

Yes, travel is charged separately. We leave from our Gdańsk studio and include the cost of reaching a garden near Żukowo or a house in Żuławy in the offer alongside the decoration quote, so you know the full amount before booking.
