• A window for Valentine’s Day and Women’s Day

  A Valentine’s Day window in red, or in a calmer palette of burgundy, powder pink and cream. If we focus on flowers rather than hearts, the same decorations can stay in place after 14 February for Women’s Day.

  • Preserved or artificial roses and other flowers, which last longer behind glass than fresh ones
  • Heart-shaped balloons or a balloon garland along the edges of the window
  • Fresh roses or tulips for Valentine’s Day itself, when the decorations only need to stay up briefly

• A spring and Easter window

  Light colours, greenery and flowers that, after the winter, are noticeable from the street straight away. We will choose the Easter accessories so they can be removed after the holiday while the window stays spring-themed.

  • Pussy willow and blossom branches, fresh or artificial, in tall vases
  • Potted tulips or hyacinths just for the Easter holiday itself
  • Painted Easter eggs and Easter bunnies in the window’s colours or your brand colours
  • Moss, grasses and light wood as the base of the arrangement

• An autumn and Halloween window

  Pumpkins, colourful leaves and dried flowers for the autumn weeks, plus orange and black balloons for Halloween. We can also prepare a friendly version without scary figures, which will not frighten the youngest passers-by.

• A year-round window

  When we start working together, we agree a calendar of changes for the whole year: which occasions matter to your business and when the window should change. At each change, we install the new decorations and take away the previous ones, so nothing is left behind in your back room.

  • A single palette or your brand colours linking one set of decorations to the next

Shop window decoration ideas

• Brand colours all year round

  Ribbons and fabrics reproduce a brand colour most faithfully. We will match balloons to it from the available range of shades and treat flowers as an accent, because not every shade is available in every season. If each successive display repeats the same colours, passers-by will recognise your business even as the window changes with the seasons.

• Your products take centre stage

  Decorations should draw the eye to your products, not hide them. That is why we will leave space in the centre of the window, at a passer-by’s eye level, for the products you want to show, and arrange the flowers, branches and balloons around them.

• Mother’s Day in flowers

  For a few weeks before Mother’s Day on 26 May, a window full of flowers reminds passers-by about a gift for their mum, so it is a good theme for perfume shops, cake shops and jewellery shops. In May, the sun is already hot behind the glass, so for that whole period we suggest artificial or preserved flowers, with fresh ones only for the day itself.

• A seaside window for summer

  In summer, a palette of navy, white and sand works well in the Tri-City and seaside towns: artificial grasses and white flowers instead of fresh or dried ones. In hot weather, balloons behind glass can burst, especially dark ones, so it is better to do without them in a sunny summer window.

• A window visible after dark

  In autumn and winter, it gets dark as early as the afternoon, and that is when windows that glow are easiest to see from the street. We will arrange warm lights woven into the decorations to keep reflections in the glass to a minimum and avoid dazzling passers-by.

• Several locations in one style

  If you have several shops or cafés, for example in Gdańsk and Gdynia, we can decorate their windows in the same palette. We will schedule the installation separately for each location, so that it fits around its opening hours.

A window display that works in two directions

From the street, the window needs to make passers-by stop, while from inside it must not take light from the interior or hide your products. So we plan the decorations to take up the edges of the glass, the windowsill or a display platform, leaving the centre for what you want to show. Before quoting, we will ask for photographs of the window from outside and inside, along with its approximate dimensions.

Shop windows in shopping centres may be subject to rules set by the centre, so if your premises are in one, send us those rules together with the photographs. If the glass and frame need to remain unmarked, we will agree with you how to attach the decorations before installation.

Which flowers and balloons work well in a window

Behind the glass, sun and warmth work just as they do in a greenhouse, so fresh flowers wilt there much faster than in a vase on the counter. For decorations that will stay up for several weeks, we suggest dried, preserved or good-quality artificial flowers, and keep fresh ones for short occasions, such as Valentine’s Day itself or an opening day. In a window that gets sun for most of the day, dried and preserved flowers also fade over time, so artificial flowers work better there.

We fill window balloons with air, because they hold their shape longer than helium ones. In full sun, latex turns matt more quickly, and in hot weather balloons can burst, especially dark ones, so for a sunny window we generally suggest balloons for shorter occasions. In a north-facing window or one shaded by the building opposite, balloons will stay up longer.

What determines the price of window decorations

The biggest factors are the size of the window and how many windows or locations we are decorating: a single café window is a different task from several windows of a shop on a street corner or all the branches of a chain. Materials matter too, because fresh flowers, preserved flowers, good-quality artificial flowers and balloons differ in price and in how long they last behind glass.

With an ongoing arrangement, how often the window is to change also matters, because each change means new decorations and another installation. Installation and removal are included in the price of the decorations. Travel is charged separately, but we state its cost in the offer from the start. We do not publish a price list, because every window has different dimensions, light and products, so we prepare each quote for the specific premises.

   Proposal and quote

   We will get back to you within 24 hours with a proposal and quote. Travel costs from Gdańsk are included in the quote from the start, so you know the full amount before booking.

   Refining the details

   We work with you to choose colours, flowers, signs and accessories, so the set suits your venue and occasion.

4. 4

   Installation before opening or after closing

   We agree the installation time with you, ideally in the morning before opening or after closing, when there are no customers inside. Installation and removal are included in the price of the decorations, and when we decorate your window all year round, we take away the previous decorations at each change.
